HSU president delays decision on budget cuts - Will Houston, Eureka Times-Standard

Humboldt State University President Lisa Rossbacher says she is delaying approving the university’s controversial 2018-19 budget as was planned for Thursday in order to give departments and programs more time to plan for up to $9 million in proposed cuts. “I apologize for the delay; I know that you appreciate the time needed to evaluate the available data and make the best decisions possible,” Rossbacher wrote in a campus-wide message this week.
