EDITORIAL Editorial: SIU President Dunn should unite, not divide the college community - the Post-Dispatch Editorial Board

It makes sense to discuss whether the state allocation for the Southern Illinois University System, which has always been tilted toward the flagship Carbondale campus, should be changed with the growth and development of the Edwardsville campus. But President Randy Dunn has alienated the Carbondale community with a hostile and derogatory email ill-befitting a university president. Two state representatives are calling for his resignation, which the board of trustees should seriously consider since Dunn has lost the confidence of at least half the system he oversees.
