UMKC announces job cuts as part of restructuring - Sam Hartle, KSHB

The University of Missouri – Kansas City said a restructuring of the school’s staffing is behind this week’s announcement to cut 17 jobs. A university spokeswoman said the cuts included 11 staff in academic units and six more administrative positions. The university has been engaged in a multi-month review process, the spokeswoman said, in an effort to reduce the school’s deficit while also looking for “long-term growth and progress.” https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/umkc-announces-job-cuts-as-part-of-restructuring
