This problem of general unaffordability does not seem to share similarities with the K-12 education system, but budget cuts and reductions in government funding for higher education may be to blame as well. But how is it possible that institutions of higher education, which profit off of rising tuition prices and student fees, often fall short of the money necessary to provide a quality experience for students?
