FSU interim athletics director David Coburn addresses budget cuts - Tallahassee Democrat

For many athletic departments nationally, sports is a money-losing proposition. While Florida State is among the fortunate that can generate enough revenue to make it profitable, not even the Seminoles are immune to financial challenges. Florida State interim Athletics Director David Coburn has implemented a 4 percent reduction in what he described as “non-operating costs” within the athletics department.
