Enrollment decline leads to budget deficit at Carroll College; program cuts possible - TYLER MANNING, the Helena Air

As undergraduate enrollment declines nationwide, Carroll College has been unable to avoid the inevitable. Carroll College's freshman enrollment declined from 374 in 2016, to 326 in 2017, to 297 in 2018. These numbers include transfers to the college, who are classified as freshmen. Not counting those transfers, freshman enrollment came out to 254 in 2018. Total enrollment at Carroll decreased from 1,373 in 2016, to 1,354 in 2017, to 1,353 in 2018. This was despite Carroll College's projection that total enrollment would grow by roughly 95 full-time students this year, according to public relations director Sarah Lawlor. https://helenair.com/news/local/enrollment-decline-leads-to-budget-deficit-at-carroll-college-program/article_fdc338e2-85d6-5ba7-8c62-022a510438ff.html
