WUTC shifts programming in January to cut expenses - Dave Flessner, Times Free Press

Radio station WUTC-FM will change next year to an all-talk format of network programming during the day as part of changes at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga station to cut expenses and university costs. The local affiliate of National Public Radio will shift to an automated format throughout the day on Jan. 2, dropping its daytime music programming and some of its paid local news operations to help cut three on-air jobs from the station's previous eight-person staff. https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/local/story/2018/nov/25/wutc-shifts-programming-january-cut-expenses/483697/
