‘A Marginally Better Year’ for State Funding - Greg Toppo, Inside Higher Ed

Public higher education leaders may have reason to be cautiously optimistic this spring: an early indicator of states’ fiscal health shows modest, if uneven, improvements. In the previous fiscal year, support for higher education grew just 1.6 percent, according to the Grapevine survey, an annual early survey of state indicators. https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2019/01/21/state-support-higher-ed-rises-37-percent-improves-over-2017
