Jensen: 'Difficult' changes ahead as IWU makes $1.1M in cuts - LENORE SOBOTA, Pantagraph

Illinois Wesleyan University is offering a voluntary retirement incentive program, merging some academic departments and reducing visiting faculty positions as part of an effort to find $1.1 million in budget savings for fiscal year 2020. In the letter, Jensen noted “challenges facing all of higher education, especially private liberal arts universities and particularly in Illinois.” https://www.pantagraph.com/news/local/education/jensen-difficult-changes-ahead-as-iwu-makes-m-in-cuts/article_efb159d7-7503-58c7-9b6e-f2ca97910692.html
