Kutztown University makes big moves as it tries to balance a $125.7 million budget - Ron Devlin, Reading Eagle

Among the measures are a hiring freeze and 10 percent across-the-board cut to all operating budgets. Kutztown University has undertaken sweeping measures to balance its 2019-20 budget, the university announced. Dr. Kenneth S. Hawkinson, president, outlined the following measures Tuesday in an open letter to the campus community: A hiring freeze will be implemented.
