St. Cloud State University, citing declining enrollment and budget shortfalls, will be making cuts in three of the school's major departments. In a memo sent to staff dated August 15th, retrenchment recommendations are being made to school President Robbyn Wacker, due to, "larger than expected enrollment declines for Fall 2019." That, the memo says will cause, "significant budget deficits" for the 2020 and 2021 school years.
