Miami University axes 40 staff positions citing budget concerns - Cameron Knight, Cincinnati Enquirer
Miami University is eliminating 40 staff positions effective July 1 to "to fortify the financial health" of the school, according to a letter from the school's president. President Gregory P. Crawford announced the number of reductions in a letter to staff on Thursday, but did not specify where the cuts would be made. "Miami is not immune from the forces driving unprecedented change across higher education," Crawford wrote.
