Oakland University asking state to budget equal dollars for all public university students with new campaign - Natalie Broda, the Oakland Press

At $3,069 per student, Oakland University is the lowest funded public university in Michigan. Grand Valley State University, The University of Michigan-Flint and Dearborn, come in close behind with under $4,000 per student. The average across the state’s 15 public universities is $5,546 per student, with Wayne State University receiving the highest among them this fiscal year at $8,999 per student.
