The impact of the coronavirus will have an impact as Southwestern Oregon Community College goes to work on its budget. In an email to campus staff, SWOCC President Dr. Patty Scott says this year isn't normal, and the impact won't be minor. They're anticipating a 15 percent decline in student enrollment, leading to budget cuts. "The $1.4 million is the gap that we have to get to a balanced budget projecting an enrollment decline," Dr. Scott said.
