Illinois State University preparing options for reductions to FY 2021 budget - WEEK

Illinois State University's president is asking its vice presidents and other fiscal authorities to prepare two scenarios for budget reductions for fiscal year 2021. The two options include 10 and 20 percent cuts compared to the FY 2020, President Larry Dietz said in a statement Monday. Dietz said the university has so far refunded about $20 million in housing, dining, parking and student fees due to the pandemic. Other costs and revenue losses have brought the financial impact of the pandemic to $26 million for ISU, according to Dietz.
