Nearly 900 University of MIssouri employees furloughed, another 995 take pay cuts due to budget gap - Megan Smaltz, KRCG

The University of Missouri has furloughed nearly 900 employees and almost 1,000 other employees have taken salary reductions as a result of coronavirus related budget shortfalls. On Friday, the University shared 899 employees have been furloughed saving the University an approximately $1.61 million. Additionally, a total of 995 employees have taken voluntary and mandatory salary reductions.
