Mid Plains Community College governors got a virtual, preliminary look at an upcoming budget that will take a $250,000 reduction in state aid into effect. The board extended President Ryan Purdy’s contract for three years at the same compensation level as 2019-20, as he declined an increase in this year’s package. Health care expenditures were increased for administrative and non-negotiated staff, but compensation was not increased.
