The Cal State University system saw state budget reductions of $300 million due to COVID-19 - Christopher Salas, KSBW

California State University schools are considering layoffs to deal with a $300 million deficit left behind from the state budget. "Any layoffs are done at the campus-level," CSU Chancellor spokesman Mike Uhlenkamp said. "The campuses have received their reduced budgets and are working to implement those budget cuts."
