UNC-Chapel Hill professor: Universities should prepare for worst-case financial scenario - WRAL

University officials were hopeful that students could live and attend class on campus. But only two weeks after they began moving in, students have started to pack up as coronavirus cases there have spiraled out of control. Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz said the university will give refunds to those who cancel their housing contracts. It's another financial hit thrown by the virus. Paul Friga, a professor of strategy at UNC's business school, said that people in the chancellor's office and other university offices need to be having serious conversations about budget cuts.
