Sparked by word of impending job and program cuts, professors at the University of Evansville are organizing in the hopes of making their voices heard in a decision-making process they feel left out of. Seventy-eight of the university's 155 faculty members have paid their dues and joined the American Association of University Professors, said Daniel Byrne, associate professor of history at UE and secretary-treasurer of the organization's new UE chapter.
