“Recently, New Mexico State University made the regrettable decision to remove the President position from NMSU-C. Instead, an executive in Las Cruces will now have authority over all three of NMSU’s branch campuses. Furthermore, there is a growing concern that resources will continue to be diverted from Carlsbad to Las Cruces," Janway said in an emailed statement.
