Budget cuts threaten to end the University of Wyoming’s graduate study in creative writing, a program with a proud history and a deep network of alumni in and outside the state. To save $2.5 million, the University of Wyoming identified degree programs across seven different colleges as candidates for either reductions, reorganizations or eliminations. Among the programs proposed for elimination is UW’s Master of Fine Arts in creative writing.
