More cuts at Misericordia University because of the pandemic. This round, we're told by professors at the school, includes 10 faculty members whose contracts won't be renewed. That makes 41 full-time employees who have or will be fired, we're told. The school has an American Association of University Professors chapter. They tell us Misericordia is also suspending tenure for 20 months. The chapter held a small rally earlier in the week to show support for faculty and staff that have been let go.
