2022 budget and master agreement gain approval by FHTC Board of Trustees - Tagan Trahoon, KVOE

The Flint Hills Technical College Board of Trustees has approved the college’s fiscal year 2022 budget. The board gave unanimous approval at their monthly meeting Monday afternoon. The total budget comes in right around $7.6 million which is roughly $50,000 less than fiscal year 2021 according to Vice President of Business Services Nancy Thompson. Thompson says the only major adjustment to the budget was a reduction in expenditures for the coming year. She says the college will be utilizing CARES Act funding to offset that decrease.
