According to the College Board, “Nearly one in six students from the high school graduating class of 2020 reported rethinking their decision to enroll in college, and two-thirds expressed concern about attending their first-choice college.” As if seeking higher education was not already a financial burden to many, the pandemic has added a new strain. Many students seeking enrollment beyond their home state of residence have been forced to face the disheartening reality that they may not be able to attend their preferred college of choice.
