The Education Trust released the following statement from Denise Forte, President and CEO of The Education Trust, on the Biden-Harris administration’s Fiscal Year 2024 budget request:
“We are pleased the Biden-Harris administration’s proposed budget includes a nearly 14% increase in education funding. The budget that was put forth shows a keen understanding of the ongoing challenges facing students of color and students from low-income backgrounds.
