Economy influences new student recruitment - Tawny Burmood, NewsNetNebraska

UNL has found fewer students from out of state are coming to the university. But fewer students from Nebraska are going elsewhere because of the economy. "It's working both ways," Franco said. "The good thing is we're getting more students from Nebraska, which is why we're here. While we like out-of-state students, of course, we want to make sure that we offer as many opportunities to Nebraska students as we can."
