More state budget cuts a threat to UGA, higher ed, Adams says - LEE SHEARER, Online Athens

The University of Georgia can’t absorb many more of the annual budget cuts that state lawmakers have imposed for the past several years, UGA President Michael Adams said Wednesday. Legislators and governors have cut millions from the budget each year since the 2008 beginning of an ongoing recession.
