FY ’14 budget to be decided by template - By Stephanie Markham, Daily Eastern

The program analysis steering committee is in the process of completing a template to guide budgetary decisions in the Fiscal Year 2014. William Weber, the chairman of the committee and the vice president for business affairs, will be sharing the template during an open forum at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Effingham Room of the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union. President Bill Perry created the committee in October charged with creating a template to allocate and reallocate university resources, strengthen programs that foster sustainable enrollment, support financial stability and identify opportunities to decrease cost. Weber said there is no specific amount that programs will have to reduce their budgets by at this time.
