About 200 students at University of the Pacific, frustrated by steadily increasing tuition combined with budget cuts, rallied on the campus Thursday afternoon outside a Board of Regents meeting. “Every year in the early spring, we get an email from President (Pamela) Eibeck saying tuition is going up,” Pacific senior Caroline Styc, one of the rally’s organizers, said following the protest. “I understand the financial need to increase tuition. At the same time our financial aid is not keeping up with the increases.”
