Oregon students, educators oppose tuition hikes, push for more higher ed funding - Natalie Pate, Salem Statesman Journal

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown wants to tap nearly $2 billion more for schools while the state's economy is strong and a legislative committee prepares a multi-billion dollar school package and education policy road map. But advocates for higher education argue more money is needed to not only help K-12 schools, but Oregon's colleges and universities as well.
