Bucks County Community College has quietly laid off a half dozen full-time employees as part of a strategy to fill a $5.5 million budget deficit and avoid a tuition increase for next year. The layoffs, the first in at least a decade at the three-campus community college, come amid two semesters of significant enrollment declines, BCCC President Stephanie Shanblatt said.
