West Virginia University raises tuition rate due to COVID expenses - Steven Allen Adams, News and Sentinal

 Receiving more than $100 million in COVID-19 relief dollars since March 2020 wasn’t enough to offset lost revenue at West Virginia University, resulting in an increase in tuition rates. The WVU Board of Governors in June approved a $1.1 billion budget for fiscal year 2022, covering the 2021-22 school year — a 1.5 percent budget increase over $1.083 billion for fiscal year 2021.
