Staffing levels at college financial aid offices suffered during the pandemic, according to a new National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators report. NASFAA surveyed roughly 500 of its member institutions in March and another 500 in May. The organization found in the initial survey that half of financial aid offices with at least one vacancy were operating at three-fourths of their capacity during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years.
