Citing financial uncertainty, Georgetown College is making major budget cuts, eliminating jobs and five sports teams in the process. Student athletes who planned to compete for teams at Georgetown College in the upcoming school year will not have a chance to play because of the cuts, according to the college. Now, athletes are raising questions and going to remarkable lengths to save their golf season.
