The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is set to eliminate 111 positions, or 12.2% of its workforce, the university announced Wednesday. UW-Platteville officials said over the next two days, they’ll meet with 60 employees that will be notified of layoffs or non-renewals. The university said they have permanently cut 31 open positions. Another 32 people took early retirement packages.
