About 20 University of Sioux Falls employees will lose their jobs and the rest will see immediate 9 percent pay cuts under a plan to save $2.2 million during the next 17 months. Eleven to 16 staff members will be dismissed today, and four to eight faculty will leave at the end of the semester. Administrators will take the next two weeks to decide which faculty will not return. Only student workers are exempted from the 9 percent pay cut. Also, USF's matching contribution for retirement will drop from 5.5 percent to 1.5 percent.
