UNC BOG Discontinues More Than 70 Degree Programs - Lauren Hills, NBC17

The UNC Board of Governors voted Friday to discontinue nearly 80 degree programs throughout its 16 campus system. In the Triangle, that included five programs at North Carolina State, four at North Carolina Central and ten at UNC-Chapel Hill, with nine of the Romance Language Departments' masters and doctorate degrees being eliminated.
