Dozens of college students from across Colorado showed up to the Capitol yesterday to protest a proposal to cut $300 million from higher education in next year’s budget. “If we’re not going to be able to fund higher education for the citizens who live here, then we are going to see a decrease in the quality of life and the wonderful nature of our state in general,” said Jordan Von Bokern, a sophomore at Colorado State University.
