DSU ends wrestling program amid troubled economy - Associated Press

Delaware State University President Claibourne Smith is canceling the school's wrestling program at the end of this school year to save money. Smith said Monday that during these troubled economic times, the school can no longer offer a program that meets the expectations of the university and the NCAA. He said the wrestling program needs several improvements.
