University of Michigan To Drop Public TV Station - Associated Press

The University of Michigan said it can no longer afford to operate Michigan Television, the public TV station in Flint. University officials said the station traditionally has gotten its biggest share of funding from viewer contributions and support from area businesses and foundations, but those revenues have declined by 28 percent over the past two years.
