Job market casts shadow on graduation - Steve Schmidt, San Diego Union-Tribune

A not-so-funny thing happened on the way to college graduation season. The job market went and played hooky. As local colleges begin to hand out spring diplomas, starting this weekend with California State University San Marcos and other schools, the Class of 2009 is casting an anxious eye on a working world stuck in a deep recession.
