Stalemate on budget has schools in limbo - Niki Kelly, Journal Gazette

The universities operate on a fiscal year, and usually tuition would be set for all their campuses – including Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne – at their May board meeting, with a final budget before July 1. That won’t happen this year. “Since state funding is a major portion of our budget, we have to know what that is before we set tuition and our own budget,” said Jeanne Norberg, spokeswoman for Purdue University.
