A sharp drop in revenues is adding another $1.5 billion to Wisconsin’s budget deficit. State Senator Bob Jauch says painful choices lay ahead. Though Jauch says it’s too early for specifics. He does say that the UW-System should brace itself. “The University of Wisconsin is taking a $120 million cut already. I fully expect, I told the chancellor that I would look for another $100-$150 million in cuts. Now, that means to the University of Wisconsin Superior, that’s looking at $2 million in cuts that they may be looking at $4 million in cuts.”
