USF to offer some courses at half price - The Associated Press

The private University of San Francisco plans to offer some half-price general education classes to help students squeezed by cuts to public colleges. Officials at the Jesuit university said Thursday they will start the program, USF Steps Up, in January. The move is intended to help students at the University of California and California State University systems who are having trouble getting classes due to budget cuts.
