N.Y. Budget Cuts Hit Higher Education - WCAX News

Part of New York Gov. David Paterson's plan to deal with the state's $3 billion budget deficit could be a big blow to higher education. Paterson's two year-plan would cut $90 million from the State University of New York and $53 million from the small City University of New York. Students on financial aid would see their grants from the Tuition Assistance Program reduced by $120.
