ISU trustees ponder budget reduction: Indiana has mandated $150M cut to higher ed - Sue Loughlin, The Tribune-Star
Indiana State University has begun developing a cost reduction plan that will include early retirement incentives as well as elimination of positions, ISU president Dan Bradley said Friday. More than likely, some people will lose their jobs, he said. Bradley, trustee president Ron Carpenter and employee group representatives discussed the budget reduction dilemma during Friday’s trustees meeting. Bradley also addressed it in detail as part of an e-mail to the university community. “The situation with the budget and the state appropriation weigh heavily on my mind,” Bradley wrote in his e-mail letter.
