Faculty, staff and students at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany and Ivy Tech in Sellersburg will have to wait to learn the details about how funding cuts announced this week will affect the budgets of their schools. But leaders of the schools, which are both experiencing record enrollments, say they should be able to achieve the necessary savings without affecting learning. “We're prepared,” said Terry Nolot, vice chancellor for enrollment services at Ivy Tech. “We'll be able to continue our mission.”
