Chris Christie's proposed budget. The New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship I program pays for students in the top 15 percent of their graduating classes to attend community college. Next year, however, eligible graduates may not get any help with their community college education. There's no money for the program under Gov. Chris Christie's budget proposal.
