University budget cuts are a reality check - Athens Banner-Herald

Reaction to this week's announcement from University of Georgia officials that additional budget cuts requested of the school could mean the elimination of more than 1,400 jobs, take instructors out of classrooms, limit admissions to the state's flagship institution of higher education and severely limit such outreach efforts as the Cooperative Extension Service has been interestingly bifurcated.
